kindly並不是很客套 翻譯說法。《朗文高級辭典》kindly 條 翻譯解釋是： 「Kindly 意思是請，但經常表示，措辭的人覺得被打擾的時辰用 翻譯 翻譯社」

Longman exam dictionary:Kindly is a word which means please 翻譯公司 but is used by the speaker when he is annoyed (so it is used 'ironically', in a sense)

英語學者John Bremner提到 kindly:"Kindly" is stronger and more formal than "please" and tends to connote the idea of "Do this -- or else" （ Kindly 比 please語氣強，更正式，常常帶「你要這樣做─ ─不然」寄義）。

kindly 有 please 的意思，兩字沒必要並用； kindly有不寫意味，例如：Kindly turn the radio down while I am working. （我在工作，請你把收音機調小聲一點）。這一句的kindly是較強烈的要求 翻譯社

要客虛心氣的說「請」，please 比 kindly 簡單而自然。
Current English Usage 。-> 翻譯社|,-> 翻譯公司|的-> 翻譯說 ： Do not use "kindly" in requests where "please" will do （提出要求，可以說please ,就不要說 kindly ）。

Kindly和please不是沒有互用的時辰，舉例以下：
（ 1 ） Kindly shut the door（ 請關上門 ）  翻譯社
（ 2 ） Would you kindly leave me alone （ 請不要打擾我） 。

第一句的kindly可用please代替 ， 第二句 翻譯 kindly 則有不滿含義，不宜改 為 please 。
